Not funny.

On Facebook, I started a 'petition' to have Mother Nature committed.

This goes waaaay beyond a practical joke or a twisted sense of humor. That lady is crazy.

Below freezing temps and rolling blackouts.

In Texas.

WTF?!?!

I'm cold, so I can't imagine how those of you north of here are handling this.

FYI, Mother Nature: this is NOT Canada.

If you'd like to sign my petition, please comment below.

Thanks, and stay warm.

  1. You are always welcome to come to my house in KY . We have had snow but for this storm we are only getting the wind. And thus far we have yet to lose power.

  2. Currently it is 7 degrees where I live (in Fayetteville, Arkansas). The high today is 11. Awesome. We have about 4-5" of snow on the ground. I am not a fan!!!

I stayed inside ALL DAY yesterday. I plan on doing pretty much the same thing today - although Hayden is supposed to have his 4-year check-later. That may or may not be rescheduled. We'll see....

We do have power though so it's all good!

  3. I couldn't walk on our sidewalk this morning, in PA. It was frozen solid. My hubby said to me, "I love you, but you are clumsy on your best day." 6 months pregnant, clumsier than ever! Stay inside if you can!

  5. I would sign your petition. She clearly thinks that Massachusetts is Antartica. She must be stopped, I tell you!

  6. I am signing. She needs to be put up in a very highly secured area and not let out until she is in a much milder form.
I want to know where my global warming is!!!

  7. Oh yes, we have super cold temps here..it was -22 at 8:30 am. Which is kinda normal for us in the winter, but it still sucks! I am ready for some of the snow, without it being below 0! I want to be able to go outside with all the kids...being cooped up is about killing us!

  8. Just made it through this storm system. Grateful to keep my power, would of been more grateful had we kept cable (TV,phone, and internet) too. I had the kids home for 2 days and waiting to hear the verdict for today.
